I spend a lot of time on the Glee set. A lot of time. Luckily we have to dance and rehearse, so we’re always moving, but having such a tight schedule can make it hard to find the time to exercise. It’s definitely a struggle!
That’s when workout buddies come in to play. Honestly, your workout buddy doesn’t even have to be someone you work out with. It can just be someone who cheers you on, or someone whose healthy habits you look up to.
See, when I’m trying to find the motivation to do my workout after I’m done shooting, luckily I can just look around me. My best workout buddy on set would probably be Heather Morris. She’s so fit, so I always look to her for workout ideas. She introduced Naya Rivera and me to something called Cardio Barre, which I love, and she has also showed me some great places to go hiking. And then there’s Harry Shum. He’s so in shape, and he eats really healthy too. He takes such good care of himself, and it’s inspiring!
