Jenna Noelle Ushkowitz was born on April 28th, 1986 in Seoul, Korea. She was adopted by a loving family and was raised in Long Island, NY, East Meadow to be specific. Jenna attended Holy Trinity Diocesan High School, a school well known for its drama and acting department. While in high school, Jenna performed in many shows such as Les Miserables, Honk!, The Baker’s Wife, Into the Woods and The Laramie Project. Jenna then went on to attend Marymount Manhattan College. During her 4 years at Marymount, she again performed in Into the Woods as Little Red Riding Hood. Although she had other roles in shows and on TV as a younger actress, her real big break came when she began starring in Glee as Tina Cohen-Chang.
